BRONZE PINFIRE GUNS Over the last 15 years I have collected and studied Bronze Pinfire Guns. They ranged from the large 12MM revolvers to as small as 5MM revolvers. Most of the Bronze Pinfire Guns were 7MM revolvers and 7MM pepperboxes . The revolver shown below is one of the pieces from the collection. Cased 7MM Bonze Pinfire Revolver is beautifully engraved with floral design on cylinder and frame. The hammer, trigger, front sight and external springs are made of Damascus steel. The revolver is in good working order and the over all condition is excellent. The barrel is 3.4 inches long and the over all length is 7 inches. The English fitted style case is 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches with blue felt interior. MARKINGS: Liege Belgian Proof mark and inspector's mark, crown over the letter N, are located on the cylinder and inspector's mark is also located on the right of frame in front to numbers. With this type of inspector mark, the gun was made before 1877. The right side of frame is marked with numbers 22919.
