BRONZE PINFIRE GUNS For over 15 years I collected and studied Bronze Pinfire Guns. They ranged from the large 12MM revolvers to as small as 5MM revolvers. Most of the Bronze Pinfire Guns were 7MM revolvers and 7MM pepperboxes . The 7MM Bronze Peperbox Pinfire shown bottom is one of the pieces from the collection. 7MM BRONZE PINFIRE PEPPERBOX

7 MM Bronze Pinfire Pepperbox is engraved with floral design on the cylinder and frame. The 1.9-inch long fluted cylinder has 6 barrels with 2 small areas (.1 diameter) of oxidation pits. Grips are checkered wood in good condition. Ejector rod is screwed in the butt of the pistol. The gun works good except the loading gate spring is missing. MARKING: Liege Belgian Proof mark and inspector's mark, crown over the letter V, are located on the back side of the cylinder. With this type of inspector mark, the gun was made before 1877.
