MALL Information: In the next few months we will be moving out of the current antique mall location. When I moved in I was told that the mall would be open 7 days a week but a few months ago they started closing on Sunday. The owner of this mall has made it almost impossible to sell from my booth. Approximately 75% of the mall is filled with the owner’s items and he works to sell his antiques but not any of the dealers. When a customer enters the antique mall and they find out that they are looking for a certain type of item, they show their items first before letting the customer know that a dealer has the same items. To make maters even worst, when the owner sees a dealer selling certain items, he then starts selling the same special items at a lower price (he pays no rent & does not pay percentage for each sale). He has done this with fossils, Militaria and Indian artifices. Just in the last two months he has taken the booth next to me on one side and filled it with his military items. I placed Indian arrow points in my display case and was planning to bring in other artifices, so he filled the booth on the other side of me with Indian items. I am currently waiting for a location to open up at a better mall across the street. This should happen in May or June. Will keep you posted - Ron Ruble
