Belgian Contract Production of a British Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol, circa 1790-1820. The round steel barrel is 9.5 inches long, .67 caliber with one Liege proof; ELG. The lock marked; TOWER, with a Crown over GR, (King George III) and an "ARROW". This fine pistol has brass regulation furniture, 16.5 inches overall length and is in good working order.
Note: A cut out / copy from a 1988 auction states:
"Tower marked FL martial pistol, with broad arrow proofs on lock, about very good to fine condition, sharp markings, recently came to us from the Argentinean Military Museum where their inventory stated that it had been captured in the 1st Falkland Islands War."
