Rare (10-inch barrel) British Military Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol, circa 1770's. The 10-inch long .65-66 caliber round steel barrel has two Tower Proofs; Brass regulation furniture; Stock is solid with a chip missing just above front of lock plate. Stock has multiple marks, a ‘CROWN’ over 2 twice, Stores keeper mark and the date 1786, J.G and 3 just behind the rear side nail. The lock marked with "TOWER", a "CROWN" over GR, (King George III) and the government ownership mark: a "CROWN" over "BROAD ARROW". The overall length of this pistol is 16.5 inch and it is in good working order.
