BRONZE PINFIRE GUNS For over 15 years I collected and studied Bronze Pinfire Guns. They ranged from the large 12MM revolvers to as small as 5MM revolvers. Most of the Bronze Pinfire Guns were 7MM revolvers and 7MM pepperboxes . The revolver shown below is one of the pieces from the collection. 7MM BRONZE PINFIRE REVOLVER

7 MM Bronze Pinfire Revolver has floral engraving on the frame and cylinder. The barrel is 3.4-inch long and the over all length of the revolver is 7.5 inches. Grips has nice checkering and are very good condition. The gun fuctions very well. This gun is almost exactly the same as revolver no. 11 except it is in perfect working condition. MARKINGS: Liege Belgian Proof mark and inspector's mark, crown over the letter V, are located on the cylinder and the inspector's mark is also located on the right side of the barrel. With this type of inspector mark, the gun was made before 1877. The letters DC in old English script are stamped on the right side of frame (see photo below).
