BRONZE PINFIRE GUNS Over the last 15 years I have collected and studied Bronze Pinfire Guns. They ranged from the large 12MM revolvers to as small as 5MM revolvers. Most of the Bronze Pinfire Guns were 7MM revolvers and 7MM pepperboxes . The revolver shown below is one of the pieces from the collection. 7MM BRONZE PINFIRE REVOLVER

7 MM Bronze Pinfire Revolver has small amount of scroll engraving on the barrel. The barrel is 2.75-inch long and the over all length of the revolver is 6 inches. This gun has a rare fluted cylinder. It is difficult to find fluted cylinder on steel frame pinfire guns and it is extremely rare in the bronze guns. Grips are plain wood and are good condition. The gun's action fuctions very well and the over all condition of this bronze pinfire revolver is very good. MARKINGS: Liege Belgian Proof mark on right side ob barrel just in front of cylinder and inspector's mark, crown over the letter N, which located in the fluts of the cylinder and on the lower right side of barrel frame numbers. With this type of inspector mark, the gun was made before 1877. The right side is stamped with the numbers 28420.
