BRONZE PINFIRE GUNS Over the last 15 years I have collected and studied Bronze Pinfire Guns.
They ranged from the large 12MM revolvers to as small as 5MM revolvers. Most of the Bronze Pinfire Guns
were 7MM revolvers and 7MM pepperboxes . The pepperbox shown below is one of the pieces from the collection.

7MM BRONZE PINFIRE PEPPERBOX

7 MM Bronze Pinfire Pepperbox is engraved with scroll design on the cylinder and frame. The 1.9-inch long fluted cylinder
has 6 barrels. Grips are wood and are in good condition.
Ejector rod is screwed in the butt of the pistol. The gun works good except at sometime when the trigger is pulled, the time is off.
MARKINGS: Liege Belgian Proof mark and inspector's mark, crown over the letter C, are located on the back side of the cylinder. With this type of inspector mark, the gun was made before 1877. The numbers 281 are stamped on frame behind trigger. The letters JC are stamped on the back side of the cylinder (see the photos below).
