Mexican Eagle Head Sword. Model 1890 sword has 31-inch straight blade usually etched and plated with design with 2 fuller grooves on each side. The hilt is also silver plated with an eagle head pommel and guard with the Mexican Eagle and snake. The grip is wood covered with a porcelain / plastic that looks like ivory and is wraped with copper wire. The scabbard is steel and silver plated.
