When an item is added to the web site it is listed in the New Item category and will remain on the category for 14 days. Date of last up-date to new item category is shown on the HOME page. An item that has a major change (correction of description or restoration completed) maybe add to New Items so customers will be aware of the change. Not all items are listed in New Item category when they are placed on the web site.
Example: Added 15 ancient whale fossil vertebras to web site at one time.
Only two or three will be listed as New Items, others would be in the Fossil category.
