Our policy statement on appraisals
We will no longer be able to supply free appraisals on the Internet.
Our policy has always been to help provide historical information for persons researching
their family items and we have, and will continue to make new collector information web pages
on our site for this use. Unfortunately, a large number of E-bay sellers and some not so honest
appraisers have been very demanding, abusive and sometimes threatening. Additional liability
insurance is now required if we provide written appraisals. We spend over $1000 each
year of reference books so those items on our web site have correct and accurate descriptions.
